Bowen Therapy
A myofascial technique that helps to reset and realign the body. A very effective remedial treatment that does not require the removal of clothing. Work can be done through loose fitting attire. Bowen is safe for pregnant women. Be very surprised at the range of movement regained after a Bowen treatment.
Remedal Massage
Relief of muscular aches and pains with the use of oil. Helps to warm and relax muscle tissue and move toxins, facilitating healing and recovery.
Naturopathy
What does a Naturopath do? We do what old fashioned doctors used to do. Really; like in the days he or she knew everyone in the family and an appointment could take half an hour. None of this one question, six minutes and you are out.
We do a physical assessment examining, eyes, tongue, nails, blood pressure, pulse, and other physical signs. We treat with western herbal medicine, mineral therapy and dietary advice, and have to know enough to be sure any pharmaceutical meds won't have any interactions with our therapies.
Therefore it is important to see a Naturopath before embarking on a course - ANY COURSE - of natural therapy. I will tailor your treatment to suit your unique requirement.
A Naturopath is not a doctor. However we are trained in biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, diseases and symptoms, nutritional deficiencies and their symptoms.
The Advanced Diploma was four years of study I undertook for you, my clients, who began asking a remedial massage therapist for advise that required such training.

Your remedial treatment plan will be individually tailored in consultation with you to best suit your needs. In your initial appointment extra time is allocated to assess your needs. The remedial therapies listed above will be used in conjunction with other remedial techniques and or stretches as necessary to best facilitate your bodies healing. Please note: Bowen therapy and lymphatic drainage is very safe and beneficial to helping an expectant mother through her pregnancy and the many physical demands on her body.
Naturopathy
Your Naturopathy appointment includes a comprehensive health assessment, which includes iridology, blood pressure, nail and tongue assessment. Other tests which may be required for example zinc or heavy metal testing will cost extra as will supplements and herbal tinctures. Treatment as required, may include Herbal medicine, mineral therapy and nutrition advice.
